My friend Phil Toomey came across this simple elegant church driving through West Virginia. Difficult to paint for many reasons. The subject matter had three basic colors and those colors for some reason did not want to work with the wooden board. I repainted this many times to get the colors right and the church size and landscape setting in harmony.
